Vernon golf course for sale

One of Vernon’s most popular golf courses is on the market.

Jon Atmore, general manager of Hillview Golf, confirms their 18-hole course, which includes a driving range and clubhouse on 14th Avenue, is up for sale.

“The golf course has been an excellent family business with the support of the local Vernon community. After 36 years it might be time to pass it on to another family,” Atmore told Vernon Matters.

“There has been some interest expressed over that past few months and we thought it would be best to let a commercial real estate agent deal with the inquiries,” added Atmore who’s father Jim was one of the course’s founders, along with Ken Wadsworth, in 1986.

The 48-acre property is listed for sale with the Okanagan office of Colliers International, with a listing price of $5.25 million.
