The Handcrafted Christmas Market
Today your Beach Radio Events Crew went to the 4th annual Handcrafted Christmas Market at the Ellison Community Hall on 4411 Old Vernon Road. The market was presented by the Frayed and Feathered Artisan Cooperative and ran from 10-4 on Saturday and is running during the same time tomorrow (Sunday, Nov 11). Molly and Brooke from the Events Crew gave out free SunRype and played great tunes as people entered the market. There was also a cafe selling warm beverages and snacks, as well as giving away free hot chocolate throughout the entire event! Sylvia Fleming, a red seal chef, was also at the market all day taking orders for delicious Christmas baked goods!
Everything at the market was handcrafted with detail and care by talented artisans. They had an array of vendors selling different handmade art pieces! From beautiful pine smelling wreaths and handmade jewelry to wood carvings and pottery they had it all! One vendor was even selling homemade environmentally friendly soaps and lotions that smelled wonderful! Admissions free, parking is free and if you missed today they will be up and running tomorrow too so don’t miss out!
