I've been with my boyfriend for almost two years, and he's just accepted a position in Argentina to work for his cousin for a year. He's excited about this and has invited me to go with him. When I mentioned how hard it would be travelling with my cat, he asked me why I would bring her. I couldn't believe it! He said the cat can't come because his cousin is putting us up in a very nice apartment, and the cat will ruin it scratching things and I refuse to get her declawed. I'm torn on what to do. My sister said she'd watch my cat while I am gone, but I don't know if I can be without her. She's my princess. I told my boyfriend I was having second thoughts about coming, and now he thinks I'm choosing my cat over him. It's turned into a soap opera. He understandably upset.
