Big Brother – Angela
We’re down to the final few on Big Brother!
Loudmouths, backstabbing, and twists…oh my! I mean let’s be real, it wouldn’t be BB without it right? Every week someone gets shown the door, they’ll be hanging out on Beach Mornings to fill us in on what went right, what went horribly wrong, and more!
Angela ran the roost in that house with a no holds barred attitude that worked in her favour for the majority of the game. She’s made some serious enemies in the jury, but will they see her big moves as strong game play once the season is done or will grudges be held in the real world? Oh to be a fly on a jury house wall haha! One thing is for sure…she found love on the inside and so did her and her loverboy Tyler. We caught up before she sashayed her way into the jury house. Read up!

Coming into a game like this is the opportunity of a lifetime. You didn’t pull any punches in that house and were on from day one with a clear goal in mind. Who did you know had to go in the first few weeks and what was your strategy in assisting them out the door?
Well I knew who my alliance was and who I was working with. Those were the people I had to make sure were safe. The house was divided so early and it was very clear where the lines were drawn. We just had to pick off the people on the other side.
You had the end in mind with the money and the win but then along comes Tyler and you fall in love, and he says it back, and it’s all butterflies and rainbows, and you’ll make beautiful children, the end haha! Did you expect in your wildest dreams to find love in the BB house and how hard did you try to fight it before the L word took over?
It is funny because I remember them telling me coming into this game that people fall in love in this house and you may find your person. I distinctly remember laughing out loud and thinking no way in hell. I fought it for awhile. I did not want to show any emotion. When you are locked in the house it is hard to fight any emotion. It was just a matter of time before we admitted our emotion and things just snowballed from there. I just fell in love with Tyler.
Do you love him a little less knowing he had a Day 1 alliance with Kaycee?
I don’t. One thing I really tried to do was separate the game and what happened with my emotions. Being in a showmance was never my intention in the game.
You, Kaycee and Tyler dominated the comps in this game as the strongest Level 6-ers and some of the strongest competitors the game has seen in a long time. Kaycee won 5 veto comps. Did you and Tyler have a plan to cut her loose at some point and if so, in a perfect world, how would that have played out?
Honestly, we never had a plan to cut her loose at any point. The plan was always to stay solid with us three till the final and at that point we would battle it out. That was always the plan and I never ventured away from that or went in a different direction.
Just when you thought the perfect setup for Final 3 was about to go down, JC rolls in and wins a competition. Your hearts sank. Your jaws dropped. That was that. Was there anything you could have done outside of winning the veto to stay safe with everything on the line?
Honestly, no. When JC won HOH it was a heartbreak for me because I couldn’t compete. It was such a crucial competition and I was not able to compete or have any influence on the outcome.
Kaycee was visibly upset having to vote a friend out as the sole vote. Did she make the right move keeping Tyler instead of you?
I think she was loyal to her final two deal which I totally understand, but I do think I had more blood on me when it comes to Jury votes. I am not going to say whether she should have kept me over Tyler. It was her decision to make and she did what she thought was best for her game.
Let’s rewind a bit. There were a lot of confrontations this season and epic speeches as well. Your goodbye message to Rachel was very blunt. You two were seemingly close in in the house but it didn’t sound like it when you said your goodbye. Do you plan on hanging out after the finale or did you mean what you said about not really ever being friends?
I don’t think I ever said anything about not ever being friends. She started to question our alliance early on in the game an that rubbed me the wrong way. When I found out from multiple sources she was throwing my name around that rubbed me the wrong way. I knew my trust with her was shaken and once I loose trust with someone I would not get it back. I had to pick Brett or Rachel so I had to choose the person I trusted most. It was totally a game decision and not personal. I hope she knows I love her to death. I think she is a great person.
What do you hope people remember most about Angela?
I hope people remember the journey I went through in this house. I came in a different person than I eft. I came in with walls up. I wasn’t ready to let a bunch of strangers into my world but once my walls came down I think people really got to see the real Angela. I came in to play hard and gave one hundred percent every day.
